A MAKE-UP whizz has revealed the affordable way to create extra volume in your eyelashes.

The woman, called Erin, shared in a TikTok video that all you need is powder for the incredible beauty hack.

In a post, the beauty fan revealed that she was trying out a lash tip that she had seen elsewhere on the platform.

She explained that all you need is mascara, an eyelash curler and translucent powder.

Demonstrating to the camera, Erin said that you need to start by "lightly powdering" your lashes.

This should be followed by curling your lashes for 20 seconds and adding a coat of mascara.

Next, Erin instructed viewers to let your lashes dry for ten seconds and then to add more mascara "to the tips", followed by a brush with a lash comb to ensure there are no clumps.

Then it's time to add powder directly to the eyelash curlers, before curling your lashes, with the powder ensuring the "lashes don't stick to the curler and also set the lash".

Her post was popular with viewers who left more than 27,000 'likes' revealed they were amazed by the voluminous results.

One person wrote: "I love curling after the mascara has dried and now this powder hack is going to take it to the next level."

Another commented: "Trying this asap!"

A third shared: "Doing this."

And a fourth added: "We did this in the 90s! It works!"

Meanwhile, a fifth asked which mascara Erin was using for the look.

She replied that it was MAC's Mackstack mascara, that costs £27 on the brand's website.
